Separating announcements from records
A product announcement, a regulatory clearance and a conference presentation are different kinds of document. A press release carries what a company wants known, a regulatory record carries the indications cleared in one market, and a paper carries what was observed under stated conditions. They do not carry equal weight as citations, and this library keeps them apart.
Clearance in one market is never restated as clearance in another. Company results and export news are not evidence of device performance either. Every fact on these pages carries the document it came from and the date it was last checked.

- Which country and which indications does the clearance cover?
- Are the presenting party and the funding source disclosed?
- Can the same claim be checked again in a primary document?
